A wide fairway bends around to the left. Aim a drive at the light towers and try to shape your tee shot from right to left. As you approach the 150 metre mark a beautiful elevated green comes into view with a cypress and a towering gum to the right which seems to reach out over the green. The green is relatively narrow so a strategic lay up can be considered by the higher handicappers.

Moruya Men’s & Senior Open Combined Conditions of Play

The event Is open to all male amateurs, who are members of a recognized Golf Club affiliated with a state or overseas association, who have a current verifiable AGU handicap. Men’s & Seniors Champion.
Entries must be nominated on the entry form, or a photocopy of the entry form and be accompanied by a cheque, cash, credit card or EFT payment.
The entry fee is $50 members or $80 non members for the 2 day event.
The Moruya Golf Club Match Committee is responsible for the organisation of the event and their decision is final.
The Match Committee has the sole control of the event and reserves the right to vary conditions should they deem it advisable. The Match Committee will decide any disputes/protest and their decision shall be final.
All players must be ready to commence play 15 minutes prior to their scheduled tee time.
Rule 5.6b will be strictly enforced. Each group must maintain its position on the course with respect to the group proceeding it. Any group with a clear hole in front of it will be considered out of position. Penalties will be issued to individuals in such groups who by their pace contribute to such delay. Warnings may not be issued prior to penalties.
Players may accept only one trophy during the event, other than novelty events.
In the event of a tie for the Overall Gross, a sudden-death play-off over holes 1,17 and 18 will determine the winner.
Ties in the Nett competitions will be determined by count back as described in the Australian Count Back System.
The rules of The Royal and Ancient Golf Club St Andrews and the Local Rules of the Moruya Golf Club shall be the rules of play for this event.
Entering this event you agree to the terms and conditions of hiring a golf cart at Moruya Golf Club. You agree to be responsible for any damage caused to the cart or by the cart payable to Moruya Golf Club.
